Our Client, a Civil Engineering contractor are on the lookout for a Site Engineer to work on Civils aspect of a Residential project in North Dublin. 

Our client are a rapidly expanding contractor and have  alrge pipeline of work in the Dublin region, with excellent opportunity for career advancement. 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute setting-out tasks in accordance with design plans, adhering to company-specific procedures.
  • Conduct as-built and valuation surveys, process data, and ensure outputs meet the requirements of site conditions and Quantity Surveyor directives.
  • Follow and enforce health and safety guidelines relevant to both the company and the project site, reporting issues as they arise.
  • Maintain and safeguard surveying instruments within your care.
  • Adhere to established surveying protocols set by the company.
  • Relay crucial information from plans, specifications, and other documentation to teams, including foremen, subcontractors, and site staff.
  • Verify that plans and calculations are accurate and in alignment with project requirements.
  • Ensure project work and materials align with contract standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keep precise and up-to-date daily records.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least three years’ experience in a comparable role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in setting-out procedures is required.
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes, including surveys and as-built drawings.
  • Skilled in using Topcon, Trimble GPS, or EDM instruments.
  • Competent in AutoCAD and familiar with building regulations and certification standards.
  • Possession of a valid Safe Pass is mandatory.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
