Our Client are a large scale Civil Engineering contractor with a number of projects nationwide including Residential & Commercial Developments, and Infrastructure projects.
They are currently on the lookout for a Contracts Manager in Dublin from a Civils background to drive the business forward.
Duties:
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and EHS teams on civil engineering contracts.
- Develop detailed project schedules, including subcontractor and stakeholder input.
- Ensure adequate resources to meet project budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate project management, engineering, and site teams.
- Define and communicate roles and responsibilities within the project team.
- Understand and manage contract terms, including amendments.
- Report project progress to company directors.
- Attend and contribute to pre-start meetings.
- Monitor and control project finances to maximize cost efficiency.
- Manage project risk registers and implement recovery strategies.
- Track labor usage and report on key performance indicators.
- Represent the company in commercial matters and client meetings.
- Oversee cost controls, revenue reporting, and budgets.
- Manage procurement and supply chain operations.
- Facilitate project communication through stakeholder meetings.
- Promote a strong on-site safety culture by leading by example.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple civil projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the civils sector.
- Skilled in report writing and evaluation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
