My client, a leading construction company, is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Athlone. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial management of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop project budgets for review by senior leadership.
- Mentor junior team members as directed by the Commercial Director.
- Work with regional and site teams to ensure project timelines and cost objectives are met.
- Source subcontractors and resources necessary for project success.
- Oversee subcontractor and supplier payments in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and liaise with the head office for administrative needs.
- Manage cost variations and secure prompt payments during project execution.
- Support management with additional duties as required.
Key Skills
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management, particularly in fitout, residential, or commercial sectors.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Proficiency in budgeting, reporting, and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
