Elite Talent Hub LTD is a specialist in permanent staffing solutions in Ireland, UK and Europe.

Due to their continued expansion in Ireland, our client is looking to recruit a Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and develop warehousing functions. The role would suit a flexible person that has warehouse experience, preferably some sales experience but above all a willingness to learn.

 

Location

Limerick, there will be some local travel and the occasional trip to the UK to visit the companys headquarters.   

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with companys policies and vision.
  • Receive, warehouse, distribute stock and warehouse maintenance operations.
  • Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Initiate, co-ordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with Stock System and undertake quarterly stock check and send report to the UK management team.
  • Manage Quarantine Area and customer returns.
  • Effectively manage FIFO stock control for perishable goods.
  • Deliveries and collections as and when required.
  • Legal Responsibilities ensure all company policies and legal responsibilities are complied with.
  • Support the Ireland sales manager with customer relations.
  • Implement the 5S of Lean process improvement
  • Role Model - behave as a role model applying in everyday life the ethical principles of the company.
  • Support the internal UK side of the business during absence, holidays or busy periods.

 

Competency Requirements

  • Warehouse experience.
  • Some sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Computer literacy : Microsoft office. company computer system training will be provided.

Qualification/Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 yearsexperience in a warehouse/internal office based environment.
  • Other appropriate skillsets that can be demonstrated to fulfil the above competency requirements.

Required Education Training

  • All legally required training H&S, Dangerous goods.
  • All internal training requirements.
