Our client are Irelands largest M&E Contractor with operations in Ireland & Across Europe. They are leading the construction of Data Centre & Pharmaceutical projects across Ireland & abroad. As part of their success on delivering these projects, they have won a number of European based contracts and now require a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team in either Gavle, Sweden or Groningen in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project scope and stakeholder requirements are met.
- Oversee all stages of Mechanical Services project delivery, from Pre-Construction to Commissioning.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and procurement standards are met.
- Continuously manage the financial aspects of projects.
- Participate in pre-appointment meetings to confirm stakeholder agreement on project scope.
- Review and coordinate construction drawings and designs.
- Ensure project specifications and change control procedures are followed, maintaining safety standards.
- Guide the operations team to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar industry is preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office
- Strong time management and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to make decisions under pressure and meet strict deadlines
