We are looking for an experienced Senior Energy & Sustainability Engineer to lead, design, and oversee energy-focused projects aimed at improving efficiency, cutting costs, and enhancing sustainability during construction, renovation, or new developments. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Energy & Sustainability function across multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage subcontractors, reviewing their work and ensuring compliance with project needs.
  • Coordinate thermal modeling (IESVE), including regulatory compliance assessments (e.g., Part L), ventilation strategies, comfort analysis (TM52/59), and daylight assessments.
  • Conduct sustainability studies supporting BREEAM certification, covering aspects like emissions reductions, renewable energy, and operational energy predictions.
  • Lead SAP-based Part L assessments for large-scale residential energy strategies.
  • Develop Energy & Sustainability Reports for planning applications, working closely with design teams and stakeholders.
  • Produce clear, detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Support business development by assisting with bid proposals, marketing content, and client interviews.
  • Carry out EPC assessments for residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Stay ahead of industry advancements and drive innovation in energy systems and technologies.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering growth within the team.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
  • Represent the company professionally, strengthening relationships and securing repeat business.
  • Collaborate across multiple office locations to share insights and improve processes.
