Job overview

Our client's Project Manager is crucial in overseeing the effective planning, execution, and completion of flooring installations. They manage resource coordination and processes to achieve outcomes that meet high-quality standards, are timely, and cost-effective, aligning closely with company goals. This role significantly contributes to achieving project milestones and overall company objectives. The primary measure of success lies in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle and upon project completion.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Gather project data, perform analysis, and maintain accurate records.

  • Identify and assess project risks, applying appropriate responses promptly.

  • Document project changes and obtain stakeholder approvals, ensuring data validity.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align project activities with corporate goals.

  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics for order placement and timely deliveries.

  • Conduct site surveys and meetings to facilitate smooth installations.

  • Ensure on-site adherence to installation methods.

  • Manage stakeholder communication and engagement effectively.

  • Formalize project information and communications for reference and reporting.

  • Initiate installation kick-offs, supervise on-site execution, and lead installation teams.

  • Maintain safety protocols within installation teams for a secure working environment.

  • Supervise installation teams, escalate issues for prompt resolution.

  • Deliver installations meeting high standards and project objectives.

  • Continuously monitor installation progress, resolve issues promptly.

  • Conduct smooth project handovers, ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Prioritize customer satisfaction in line with company values.

  • Update project data in company systems for easy access and reporting.

 

Experience & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.

  • Expertise in engineered wood and LVT flooring installation, maintenance, and repair.

  • Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager in UAE's Interior Fit Out sector.

  • Proven experience in managing high-end residential projects.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under minimal supervision.

  • Strong client service focus, adept at understanding and meeting client needs.

  • Sales support skills, capable of advising and influencing clients.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.

  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and collaborative team player.

  • High level of responsibility, ethics, and technical proficiency.

  • Organized, precise, and capable of timely follow-up.

  • Quick learner with proficiency in English (native or expert level) and preferably Arabic.

  • Familiarity with construction and fit-out trends, AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project.

  • Valid UAE driving license required.
