Job Overview:

Our client is looking for UK/Irish qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate Primary Teachers to join one of their Schools in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing young students with a broad foundation of knowledge and skills, ensuring they experience a well-rounded and engaging education.
  • Demonstrating the highest standards of honesty, fairness, respect, kindness, and compassion in every interaction and lesson, setting a positive example for students.
  • Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their personal best and exceed their previous accomplishments.
  • Using expertise in primary education and creative teaching methods to captivate students and foster a genuine love for learning.
  • Incorporating educational technologies and innovative teaching strategies to make learning more dynamic and accessible for all students.
  • Designing lessons that are carefully crafted to meet the diverse learning needs, styles, and preferences of each student.
  • Helping students become confident, independent learners who are enthusiastic about their educational journey.
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues and contributing to the continuous improvement of the school community.
  • Creating and implementing a variety of learning activities that enrich the standard curriculum and support students’ overall development.
  • Working with fellow teachers to establish and uphold fair and consistent discipline practices, ensuring a safe and respectful environment free from any form of abuse or bullying.
  • Communicating regularly and professionally with parents about their child's progress, achievements, and any concerns.
  • Maintaining confidentiality when discussing student matters with parents and other external parties.
  • Demonstrating academic integrity in all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Actively participating in team meetings and sharing valuable insights to support school initiatives.
  • Assisting with after-school activities as needed, contributing to a well-rounded educational experience for students.
  • Engaging with the broader community by participating in school events, including those that may occur on weekends or evenings.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as reasonably requested by school leadership to support the overall goals of the institution.

 

Position Requirements:

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is essential, along with a recognized teaching qualification and valid teaching license from the UK or Ireland.

 

Experience:

  • Experience with the Irish or UK curriculum is essential.
  • Prior experience working with English Language Learners is advantageous.
