Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure the correct products are supplied.
- Identify sales opportunities and provide advice and solutions to maximize profitable sales and margins.
- Achieve sales and margin targets.
- Maintain a clean and well-merchandised counter area in line with company policy.
- Follow company policies when producing sales-related paperwork.
- Manage the re-ordering and stock levels of selected product lines within the Plumbing and Heating department.
- Liaise with suppliers as needed.
- Support the Branch Manager and colleagues to ensure efficient and effective branch operations.
- Maintain a tidy working environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Safeguard against theft by being security conscious at all times.
- Perform other duties as required by the company.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous experience in a busy builder providers is preferable.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and margin targets.
- Good knowledge of Plumbing & Heating products is a distinct advantage.
- Previous sales experience is an advantage.
- IT literacy.
