Our client are a rapidly expanding contractor, specialising in M&E Engineering and Maintenance projects. They are based in Dublin and are now on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineering Manager to join their team. This role entails overseeing projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project scope and shareholder needs are met.
- Oversee all stages of Mechanical Services project delivery, from Pre-Construction to Commissioning.
- Regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and procurement, ensuring alignment with project targets.
- Manage the financial aspects of projects continually.
- Lead project pre-appointment meetings to confirm all stakeholders agree on the project scope.
- Review and coordinate construction drawings and designs.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, change control procedures, and safety standards during project execution.
- Provide operational team guidance to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a contracting environment
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire a team
- Proficiency in IT and technical skills
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Salary:
- €75,000 - €85,000
