Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and engineering team on projects, ensuring design excellence and adherence to project specifications and client requirements.
  • Develop and manage design schedules, budgets, and project timelines, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Oversee the development of detailed design plans and ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the design team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with all stakeholders.
  • Review and approve design documentation, ensuring quality and accuracy before submission to clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other teams to ensure seamless project execution from design through to delivery.
  • Monitor and control design changes, ensuring they are documented and aligned with project objectives.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and maintain communication with clients to ensure their needs are met throughout the design process.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the design process.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in design engineering, with experience leading teams on large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, project management, and relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams, including clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs.
