We are working on behalf of our client, Irelands largest M&E engineering contract services company who have a proven track record of high quality, customer focused project delivery for over 130 years. Our clients core divisions include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection.
They are currently engaged on a major Data Centre project in Gavle, Sweden and are looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join them on this project. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery and handover of Mechanical Systems on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily mechanical construction management activities.
- Plan, develop, and organize mechanical construction to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion within budget.
- Implement construction/fabrication, pre-commissioning tasks per the project scope and schedule.
- Report project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, to the Project Manager promptly.
- Document any changes to specifications, work scope, and drawings.
- Monitor construction performance and adherence to schedules.
- Follow Safety, EHS, and Quality Standards in line with company policies.
- Manage site design and mechanical construction processes.
- Plan and allocate resources, including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Lead the team to meet all project requirements and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Background in a relevant trade or engineering field.
- Over 5 years of industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction and design processes.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with stakeholders.
