Role: Branch Manager

 

Our client is looking for a dedicated Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, including sales, staffing, customer orders, and deliveries, while maintaining top-notch customer service at our clients Enniskillen branch.

 

Role Overview:

  • Oversee daily branch functions.
  • Ensure customer needs are efficiently and effectively met.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Drive branch development to meet revenue and sales goals.
  • Report to the Group Sales Director.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and Gross Profit (GP) targets by promptly and professionally handling customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Group Sales Director to drive branch development.
  • Enhance branch performance across key metrics.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards and procedures.
  • Oversee the health & safety and well-being of branch staff.
  • Ensure the sales team delivers professional, friendly, and enthusiastic customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with external sales representatives on customer inquiries, orders, credit limits, and targets.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff and departments to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the company's product ranges and seek training as needed.
  • Work with yard/shop stock controllers to maintain stock levels.
  • Proficiently operate relevant computer software.
  • Participate in trade shows and other events as required.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through performance coaching and leading by example.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and properly merchandised store.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities.
  • Participate in training and personal development initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

 

Knowledge & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in Builders Merchants Branch Management is highly advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of management experience.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in standard software packages, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience in people management and health & safety.

Hours:  

  • Monday – Thursday   7.30am – 5.00pm
  • Friday                           7.30am – 4.00pm
  • Saturday                     8.00am -12.30pm   (1on 3 off rota)

 

Salary:   45-50k with a 5k bonus depending on experience.
