Our client, a leading construction firm in Ireland with a strong pipeline of projects in the residential, commercial & INdustrial sectors are now looking to hire a BIM Manager. This role involves overseeing the timely, safe, and quality-focused delivery of projects within budget. The position offers a competitive package with flexibility on location due to the company’s multiple office sites. Reporting directly to the directors, the BIM Manager will be responsible for implementing, developing, and managing BIM processes and coordination across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the adoption and ongoing development of BIM processes, ensuring seamless integration across all company departments and functions. Develop and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and execution plans.
  • Manage the BIM/CAD team, ensuring sufficient resources, training, and tools are available to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Oversee and facilitate BIM workflows, conducting regular coordination meetings and ensuring effective collaboration among all project stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related matters with clients.
  • Ensure hardware, software, and other digital tools are optimized for project requirements. Drive on-site efficiencies through the use of digital construction methodologies and processes.
  • Stay informed on industry advancements by attending relevant seminars and workshops. Evaluate new technologies and innovations to maintain the company’s leadership in BIM capabilities.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and maintain continuous development within the BIM function. Report regularly on BIM productivity and overall effectiveness.

Key Skills

  • Degree or diploma in a construction-related field, such as civil engineering or architecture.
  • At least 5 years of proven success in a BIM management or coordination role, with a track record of leading teams effectively.
  • Deep understanding of BIM technologies, software tools, and workflows, along with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
  • Strong ability to manage teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
