Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and receivable data.
- Process invoices, reconcile bank statements, and prepare balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
- Handle payroll processing and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
- Provide support during financial audits and implement auditor recommendations.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline financial operations.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Analytical mind with strong numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
