Trade Sales Advisor - Plumbing & Heating - Dublin

 

Primary Objective

The Trade Sales Advisor role focuses on providing knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable service to customers, while optimizing branch sales and gross profit. Promoting company products professionally and delivering exceptional customer care are also key aspects of the role.

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Preferred experience in a busy builder providers environment
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets
  • Good knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products advantageous
  • Previous sales experience beneficial
  • IT literacy

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships to understand their needs and ensure accurate product supply
  • Identify sales opportunities, offer advice, and maximize profitable sales and margins
  • Achieve sales and margin targets
  • Maintain a clean and well-merchandised counter area as per company standards
  • Adhere to company policies in all sales-related paperwork
  • Manage re-ordering and stock levels of selected product lines in Plumbing and Heating department
  • Collaborate with suppliers when necessary
  • Support Branch Manager and colleagues to ensure efficient branch operations
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment following health and safety guidelines
  • Maintain security awareness to prevent theft of company goods
  • Perform additional duties as required by the company
