My client, a leading provider in the construction and building materials industry, is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join their Dublin branch.
In this role, you’ll proactively engage with existing and potential customers to develop new business opportunities. Collaborating closely with the Branch Manager and National Sales Manager, you’ll use innovative tools to manage leads, build a strong pipeline, and deliver exceptional service to key clients. Your ability to forge strong relationships with customers and suppliers, manage contracts efficiently, and meet sales targets will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional support to customers, both in person and over the phone, assisting with inquiries and purchases.
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Develop product knowledge to offer tailored advice and solutions to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store environment.
- Support inventory activities, including stock checks and cycle counting.
- Collaborate with warehouse and yard teams to ensure smooth order processing.
- Follow company guidelines, including health and safety standards, in daily operations
Key Skills
- Previous retail or sales experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction, plumbing, or DIY products is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A proactive, solution-driven approach to tasks.
- Comfortable using IT systems and technology to support operations
