Plumbing & Heating Supervisor - Gorey, Co. Wexford

 

Primary Objective

As the Plumbing and Heating Supervisor, you will oversee all operations related to plumbing and heating at your branch. Your primary responsibilities will include boosting product sales, generating new business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Extensive background in the Plumbing and Heating Industry
  • Strong skills in commercial and strategic planning
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Experience with Health and Safety compliance
  • Preferred but not required: Experience in managing personnel

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the Plumbing and Heating department, including procurement, inventory management, and profit margins
  • Meet sales and profitability goals
  • Promote Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company regulations
  • Advance the Plumbing and Heating department's growth
  • Cultivate client relationships
  • Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring efficient and effective interactions
  • Provide appropriate training to staff for customer interactions
  • Manage equipment and conduct regular inventory audits
  • Contribute to strategic and business planning, consulting with Senior Management regularly
  • Coordinate the re-ordering and optimal stocking of selected product lines
  • Adapt to and manage changes effectively
  • Maintain a clean work environment adhering to safety guidelines
  • Ensure vigilance against theft, prioritizing security measures
  • Enforce company policies consistently
