Operations Manager - Healthcare Setting

Our client is an advanced, dynamic Sports and Family Medical Center with team of clinical experts. They are seeking an experienced and organized Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of their clinic, focusing on efficiency, patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and meet quality standards.
• Manage administrative and support teams, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring staff are adequately trained.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline patient care processes and optimize the patient experience.
• Ensure the clinic complies with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and legal requirements.
• Monitor clinic performance metrics, such as patient wait times, appointment scheduling, and resource allocation, implementing improvements as needed.
• Manage the clinic’s budget, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Oversee supply chain management, ensuring that medical supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and available.
• Liaise with the IT department to ensure electronic medical records (EMR) systems are functioning correctly and data security is maintained.
• Resolve any operational issues or patient complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance clinic efficiency and improve service delivery.
• Report regularly to senior management on clinic performance, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in healthcare operations management or a similar role within a clinical setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and clinic operational processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in healthcare management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical staff and patients.

Education and Experience:

• A degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in operations or clinic management (salary reflective of experience level).
