Our client is a leading provider of mechanical and process engineering services, with expertise in delivering high-quality installations for the food, beverage, brewery, and pharmaceutical industries. The are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will oversee mechanical installation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical installation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Manage internal resources and coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on project performance, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain progress and quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular updates and addressing any issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promoting a safety-first culture on all project sites.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of necessary project documentation, including quality control tests and reports.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of project management experience in the mechanical/process engineering sector, ideally within the food, beverage, brewery, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation processes, including prefabricated pipework, welding, and modular construction.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software tools and methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
