Our clients are seeking a Mechanical Estimator for our Sprinkler & Fire Protection division based in Damastown. This role involves estimating and quantifying mechanical equipment and materials for various projects. While specific fire protection knowledge isn't required, a solid understanding of mechanical systems and processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all enquiries from start to finish, understanding schematics and GA drawings.
- Quantify and itemize equipment and materials from drawings.
- Create BOQs and detailed proposals from minimal information.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, making decisions and liaising with vendors and clients.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in mechanical estimating.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient in IT and Bluebeam software.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
