Elite Talent Hub LTD is a specialist in permanent staffing solutions for clients nationwide.

Our Client are one of Europes largest M&E Contractors and have an expanding pipeline of projects across Ireland & Europe. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join them on a for a large scale Battery Storage Facility project in Skelleftea, Sweden. Reporting to the Project Director, the successful candidate will have full ownership of Electrical package.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to define project requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as Electrical Engineering and Fire Protection, for smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and revise technical drawings, specifications, and documents using BIM tools.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards during the design phase.
  • Source materials, equipment, and components needed for project implementation.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and manage procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Oversee construction and installation phases, providing technical guidance on-site.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Address technical challenges promptly with effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and change orders.
  • Prepare technical reports for clients and management.

 

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the engineering services industry with successful project delivery.
  • Strong technical proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and design tools.
  • Familiarity with BIM and other engineering technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Understanding of relevant mechanical engineering codes, regulations, and safety standards.
