My client are on the lookout for an Air Conditioning Systems Specialist to manage the upkeep, enhancement, and troubleshooting of various AC systems. This role focuses on ensuring systems operate efficiently, meet safety standards, and provide excellent service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive upkeep, and repairs on different AC systems including split units, central air systems, and ductless solutions.

  • Issue Resolution: Quickly diagnose and fix issues with AC systems using advanced tools and methods to keep systems running smoothly.

  • Efficiency Improvements: Evaluate AC systems and suggest upgrades or changes to boost performance and energy efficiency.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols during maintenance tasks to ensure a secure work environment.

  • Record Keeping: Document all maintenance work, repairs, and upgrades, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for system improvements.

  • Team Collaboration: Work with other teams or external partners to plan and complete maintenance work effectively with minimal disruption.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications: Certified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer with FETAC Level 6 and F-Gas certification

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of different AC systems and components with proven skills in maintenance and repairs.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve AC system issues with expertise and follow best industry practices.

  • Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety standards related to AC maintenance.

  • Additional Skills: Experience with modern AC technologies, smart controls, and energy-efficient practices is a plus. Background in commercial or industrial settings, especially in boiler maintenance and mechanical systems, is desirable.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Driver’s License: Must have a valid, clean driver’s license.
