Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and engage with new clients, including contractors, developers, and construction companies.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, maximizing repeat business and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Act as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Attend client meetings, construction site visits, and industry networking events to strengthen partnerships.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive activities, and potential growth areas.
- Prepare sales performance reports, provide insights on market developments, and present updates to senior management.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the product range and offer tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and promotional initiatives.
- Partner with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and procurement, to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within construction fixings, fasteners, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
- Strong understanding of the construction and building materials industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and leverage market opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
