My client are on the lookout for an Electrical Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Vienna, where you'll play a pivotal role in the construction of a cutting-edge Data Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate complex electrical systems on a high-profile project, ensuring timely delivery, budget alignment, and uncompromising quality standards. You'll collaborate with expert teams, manage key stakeholders, and drive innovative solutions in one of the most technically advanced sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the scheduling and tracking of project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and compliance with project specifications.
  • Supervise on-site personnel, including subcontractors and internal teams, to maintain quality standards and productivity.
  • Manage the project lifecycle from design review to final commissioning, ensuring installations meet operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project documentation, including procurement schedules, technical submissions, and critical project milestones.
  • Coordinate deliveries, material management, and equipment handling to ensure smooth on-site operations.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and stakeholders while attending key meetings to track progress.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning to ensure project completion aligns with client expectations and contractual agreements.
  • Lead cost management initiatives, monitor material usage, and support value engineering processes to achieve financial goals.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld throughout the project.

 

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary construction projects, ideally with electrical engineering expertise.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, with a strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Skilled in project planning software such as MS Project or similar tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on achieving results under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle diverse tasks and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
