  Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a passion for driving innovative solutions in the water and wastewater industry?

Our client, a leader in delivering cutting-edge water and wastewater projects, are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical systems within their critical infrastructure projects in Leixlip.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical project teams across design, pre-construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Oversee performance metrics of the electrical team, reporting regularly on key project outcomes.
  • Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards are integrated into designs and maintained during construction.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to optimize overall project design solutions.
  • Manage subcontractor and supply chain performance, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive innovation in electrical design, promote sustainability, and incorporate off-site manufacturing where applicable.
  • Conduct constructability reviews and ensure smooth handover to on-site construction teams.
  • Support tender preparation and technical evaluations of electrical work packages.
  • Manage resource allocation, recruitment, and people development within the electrical team.

 

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in project management, preferably in water or wastewater sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of LV control and power distribution systems.
  • Proficient in reading electrical design drawings and panel schematics.
  • Experience in PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and communications protocols.
  • Familiarity with program management tools like Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and team management abilities.
  • Full driving license required.
