Our client is a premier builders' merchant in Ireland, offering a wide range of building materials, plumbing products, and DIY supplies. With a strong nationwide presence, they serve both professional tradespeople and DIY customers, providing top-tier products and expert service. They are now seeking a Branch Manager to be based in Sandyford.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the branch, setting clear targets and ensuring they are consistently met.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of customer relationships, while seeking opportunities to grow the customer base.
  • Allocate resources and manage staff to meet changing business demands.
  • Identify new business opportunities for growth and development.
  • Foster strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in team management and leadership.
  • Strong sales background, ideally in the building materials industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and provide creative solutions.
  • Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
