Primary Objective

Under the guidance of the Regional Manager, the Branch Manager is responsible for managing daily branch operations. This position requires creating and executing a business plan to meet branch revenue, sales, and service targets.

 

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Prior management experience is crucial.
  • Strong understanding of the hardwoods, softwoods, and sheet materials industry.
  • Proven experience working with joinery manufacturers and specifiers.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • A degree in a commercial discipline is preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales team to provide excellent customer service both in person and via phone.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and computer operations.
  • Work with sales representatives to set monthly growth targets and development goals.
  • Assist the Regional Director in driving branch growth and maintaining service excellence.
  • Stay informed about client and competitor products/services to maximize sales.
  • Enhance branch performance across key metrics.
  • Perform customer service tasks as needed to manage branch operations efficiently.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through performance coaching and leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised store environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Manage branch administration effectively.

Contract Type
